Therapy with NEMOS® is a very low-side-effect therapy. Overall, we distinguish between two types of side effects: on one hand, there are the local side effects that can occur in the form of itching, redness and pressure sores in the area of stimulation of the outer auricle. On the other hand, systemic side effects may occur, as stimulation of the vagus nerve may affect the autonomic nervous system. These may include headaches, nausea or dizziness. As with other drug or neurostimulation therapies, an increase in seizures may occur. Compared to other therapies, however, we differ in that the side effects usually disappear immediately after the end of the therapy. * * Vigilance data tVNS Technologies GmbH
